Judge Guide

How to score a pitch online in under two minutes.

Scoring a team

  1. Sign inOpen on your phone or laptop and sign in with the user ID and password from the co-ordinator. Your login is personal: your sheets are stored under your name.
  2. Pick the team that is pitchingTeams are listed in pitch order with their problem statement and a status: Not scored, Draft saved or Submitted.
  3. Mark the seven criteriaType the mark in the box, drag the slider, or tap −1, −½, +½, +1. Each card shows what to look for. Half marks are allowed.
  4. Add bonus, if earnedChoose the prototype level, then the exact marks inside that level. Mark the AI video out of 5. Leave both at 0 if the team had neither.
  5. Write feedbackOne line on the strength of the idea and one on what needs improvement. Teams value this more than the number.
  6. SubmitThe running total out of 115 stays at the bottom of the screen. Press Submit score and confirm. Drafts save automatically, so you can score during the pitch and submit after Q&A.
Changed your mind? Open the team again, adjust, and press Update score. Editing stays open until the co-ordinator closes scoring.
